Our Christmas Concert

We were delighted to welcome our parents, families and friends to the school for our Christmas Concert. All our hard work over the last few weeks paid off and we sang our little hearts out! Included in our playlist were Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, I'm A Little Snowman, S-A-N-T-A and Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer.
Then, together with the Junior Infants, we also sang Mary Had a Baby, Jingle Bells and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. We hoped Santa will be very impressed!

A huge thanks to Sebastian Kania for taking and sharing his lovely photos!! You can find them at:

Lastly, we would like to wish everybody a Merry Christmas and every success, health and happiness in the New Year!

Aistear Restaurant

The Aistear Restaurant has been very busy over the last few weeks. The cooks, waiters and waitresses have been ran off their feet serving delicious food. Fortunately, not too many of our customers had to complain about cold soup and flies in their pizzas!

Winter Art

We made a lovely penguin display celebrating the March of the Penguins in the South Pole.

For Anti-Bullying week, all the pupils and staff in the school joined hands and made a friendship chain circling the school.

Exploration Dome Visit

We were delighted to welcome the Exploration Dome to the school today. Inside the dome, we could look up and see the night sky. We spotted stars, planets and constellations!
                                         Finding the North Star..

The dome also brought us on a journey under the sea. There were some scary moments....with an attack from a teacher eating shark. How terrible!?!

Fishing for words

We are revising our sight words by playing games..

                                         It's a big one.
                                         It really is "big"!

Hurry Up in the hall!

After a gentle walk in the woods last week, things got a lot faster in the hall this week!

Maths Week - Parents Teaching

We had a great time in class today! Some of our parents came in and played Maths games with us. We got to practise our counting and ordering skills and revise our shapes. We learned so much from our new múinteoirs. Thank you for teaching us! At the end, it was such great fun, we just had to slap the sillies out!!
